Accel World Voice Actress Sachika Misawa Treated for Heatstroke

The staff for voice actress Sachika Misawa reported on Saturday that she was diagnosed with heatstroke after she collapsed in her home. Misawa is now resting while she is being treated at a hospital.

As a result, she will not be appearing on Saturday's Anikin~Skytree Radio program as scheduled. The staff apologized to all those involved and the fans. Misawa will try to recover enough to attend the Ani-plugged concert in Tokyo's shibuya duo Music Exchange venue on Sunday.

Misawa played Kuroyukihime/Black Lotus in Accel World, and her other roles include Yuri Gamagoori inShangri-La, Cafe and Miki Mori in Yumeiro Pâtissière, Arianna in Campione!, Momoko in Angel's Drop, and Kagami Totori in Fantasista Doll.

Temperatures reached 33°C (91°F) with humidty above 70% in Tokyo on Saturday, and it was even higher earlier in the week. 17 people died in Japan during last week's heat wave.

Log Horizon Fantasy Novels Get TV Anime By Satelight

Motoya Matsu's manga adaptation of Mamare Touno's Log Horizon fantasy novel series is revealing on Saturday that the story is getting a television anime adaptation. The anime studio Satelight is producing the planned 25-episode series for airing on the public broadcaster NHK's E-Tele channel this fall.

The story begins when 30,000 Japanese gamers are trapped in the fantasy online game world Elder Tale. What was once a "sword-and-sorcery world" is now the "real world." The main lead Shiroe attempts to survive with his old friend Naotsugu and the beautiful assassin Akatsuki.

Touno debuted his novel on the user-generated content site Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2010. Matsu launched his Log Horizon Gaiden Honey Moon Logs manga adaptation in ASCII Media Works' Monthly Comic Deneaki Daioh magazine last year, and the latest installment is running in the magazine's March issue this Saturday. Kazuhiro Hara began serializing the main manga adaptation on Enterbrain's Famitsu Comic Clear website last year, and Koyuki began drawing another manga called Log Horizon ~Nishikaze no Ryodan~ in Fujimi Shobo's Age Premium website last year also.

Little Busters Producer: Anime to Cover Everything, Even Though 26 Episodes Is Not Enough

Little Busters! producer Kohei Kawase revealed in a discussion on the 222nd episode of the Nora Inu Kyōdai no Gyōkai Jiji Hōdan (The Stray Dog Brothers' Current Business Chat) radio show that he is intending to cover the entirety of the original Little Busters! visual novel in the ongoing anime adaptation, even if 26 episodes (two quarters or cours) is not enough.

Kawase said, “Once you get to the 26th episode, you'll understand what I'm talking about. We'll leave the message you've been wishing for at the very end! Don't be doubtful, and don't create a fuss, just please relax and watch. Look forward to what happens! We'll make sure to do the route of that girl you love, I promise! When I say we'll do it all, I don't think 26 episodes will nearly be enough!”

Key, an adult game brand of Visual Art's, released the original romance adventure game for personal computers in 2007, and the game has since been ported to the PlayStation 2 and PSP platforms. The Japanese software company Prototype released the PS Vita version on March 22. The anime began airing in Japan on October 6. - via: Otacom

"Oreimo" S2 to Premiere in April 2013

The future of the Oreimo (Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii wake ga nai!) anime's second season was decided on stage at Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2012 today by Ayana Taketatsu (voice of Kirino), Kana Hanazawa (Kuroneko), creator (author Tsukasa Fushimi), as well as staff from both Aniplex (publisher) and Dengeki Bunko (publisher of the light novels).

The meeting's agenda kicked off with discussion of when to air season two. October was immediately rejected since the re-edited "True Route" version of the first season just kicked off its run on Friday. Spring was mentioned as an option since both Taketatsu and Hanazawa like that season, but in the end they decided they needed to know more about the production status before deciding an air date. This entailed the revelation that A-1 Pictures (a subsidiary of Aniplex) will be animating season two instead of AIC Build for scheduling reasons. However, it sounds like the original staff members will be gathered together for the project.

Once they got that announcement out of the way, they arrived at the April 2013 premiere of season two, with the note that taking that amount of time will mean the show will look better.

Next everyone spent some time brain storming character tie-ups. You may remember Kirino's Chiba Mazda campaign, and there was also a successful collaboration that resulted (it was announced) in a new record of 8,400 commemorative ticket sales for Chiba Urban Monorail. The idea of "Kiririn P" (P for Produced) projects was introduced. Taketatsu thought a Kirino-produced clothing line would be cool, and Hanazawa added that Kuroneko could do a collaboration with a goth loli fashion magazine. They're also looking for more ways to stay tight with Chiba.
